Shipping & Return Policy
When We Ship
When Shipping ing Michigan, we ship our sausage products using UPS Ground. When shipping in the rest of the 48 continental united States we, we ship UPS Second Day Air.
The apparel-only orders will be shipped USPS Priority Mail.
Please be aware of your items in your cart at checkout and select the correct shipping method. If eligible for FREE SHIPPING make sure to select it upon check-out.
As soon as we process your order, you will be provided with a UPS tracking number (by email), please use it as a reference to find out exactly when your product is due to arrive at your house. Refrigerate upon arrival.
Important : It takes us at least one full business day to process and prepare your sausage for shipment. Please take this into consideration that if you order on Tuesday night, we may not be able to ship your order until Thursday or Monday of the following week. We do not want your packages to sit in a warehouse over the weekend. Please check your email for updates on shipping status.
SECOND DAY SHIPPING - Orders received after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday, will be processed and shipped on the following Monday.
For our customers who are shipping to Chicago area, parts of northern Indiana or northwestern Ohio please call us. We may be able to ship GROUND, which is significantly cheaper than Two Day Air, but will get there in the same timeframe.
How We Ship
We flash chill our freshly made sausages with dry ice, then place in a Styrofoam box with gel packs or more dry ice. All sausages and jerky is vacuum packaged. If you do not know what you would like, just call us, let us know what you are looking for, and we can put a box together for you. Perishable items must be delivered to street addresses and be refrigerated upon your receipt. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide proper shipping addresses and to ensure that someone will be available to accept the delivery. Orders can NOT be shipped to a P.O. Box address.
If Nowicki's Sausage Shoppe is not able to fulfill your order within the above parameters, you will receive an e-mail informing you of the back order which also contains your new ship date and tracking information. Most back ordered items will ship one to two business days later. Nowicki's Sausage Shoppe will notify you via e-mail should there be an exception.
It is important to remember that all items shipped by Nowicki's Sausage Shoppe are perishable. In the event of inclement weather and/or natural disaster, it is possible that delivery may be restricted or impaired. We cannot assume responsibility in these instances. All perishable foods are shipped in specially designed and re-usable insulated coolers to make sure that you receive them in perfect condition. Please be sure to open your packages as soon as they arrive so that your sausage can be stored and refrigerated properly.
If your items arrive damaged, please call 989-354-2219 - we are happy to help.
We DO NOT accept returns of sausage for any reason. Our sausage is very perishable and will not last the trip back.
If there are ANY problems with your order please call us as soon as you receive your package, no later than 3 days after package was delivered.
If your order was delivered correctly we will not refund your shipping & handling fees.
If your order is a gift please check the address and zip that you would like this to be sent to. This is your responsibility to make sure everything is correct.
At Nowicki's Sausage we are well known for our quality sausage, but we will not refund your money if the taste is not what you were expecting.
Not responsible for package that was left at your door and customer did not check or the package was stolen. Also if you sent a gift and the giftee was not at home and the items spoiled or were stolen we will not take responsibility.
Once you receive your box please put your sausage directly into the refrigerator or freezer.
Please reuse or recycle shipping containers.

We will ONLY accept return shipments of apparel to change sizes or colors. You will be charged for shipping the packages back and forth. So please know your size before you order.
We will not sell, share, trade, or give away any personal information that we receive regarding our customers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders and to provide a more personalized shopping experience.
